Columbus, Ga or Evansville, In
Who is going to which event? They are both the weekend july 19th
Evansville is the DockDog event at the Freedom Fest. We went last year and it was a great turn out.
Cloumbus is the UAD event...been to a few of those UAD events...on a short dock only....didnt like it that much....plus the judging doesnt thrill me either.
I know its about the dogs but I have the stupid thing.....I think they call it...."competitive" or something like that.

We'll be going to the Columbus, GA event....we went last year when it was a DD event, and actually I'll be glad that Milt got the event this year instead. Can't wait to see what the puppy will do!
I know his judging isn't all that great, but he knows how to put on a good show and he's a great guy which says A LOT. I'm pretty sure he'll have the long dock (hopefully) at this event. I don't really like the short dock either- and I have a small dog. I'm fairly competive too- which is why I agree about the judging...but all in all, I like to go to the events to watch my dogs have fun and have fun w/ my friends!
I know Lori will be there, and I think that Marty and Marge and Jake were going to go Columbus too.
Evansville sound fun, but it's a lot longer drive than Columbus, and with the economy.....well..you know.

Columbus for the houla's! I would not travel anywhere for a DD event anyway! Milt may not be perfect in his scoring, but everyone is scored the same way so it all works out the same. Also have a fun relaxed event means a lot more to me winning. And that is coming from someone whose dog actually won last year at the Columbus event under DD

Yup Probably be the only one we will ever win. UAD's Senior division goes up to 19'11" which makes it a harder for Dexie. DD has it up to 18'11" which is more in Dexie's ability, but again I prefer the atmosphere of UAD over DD.
