Bad break for Marge

Well we went over to Jake's yesterday and jumped. That's the good news. The bad news is Molly and Rebel sent Marge flying and she broke her ankle. I took her to the ER and they put a splint on it and she has to go to an ortho Dr tomorrow to have it looked at and hopefully only a cast until it heals.

My parents are still here and are going to stay a few more days which will help.

Oh NO!!!! Marge if you need any hints on how to shower with a cast on, call me. After 9 weeks in a hard cast I know the drill. Hope it only requires a cast. Sending healing thoughts your way.

Marge got a cast today and it looks good that things will heal up without any additional problems. It's a non-weight bearing type of injury, so she can't walk on it for at leat 4 weeks. The other amazing thing Marge said as we were leaving the ER is "I can't believe I fell and didn't get poop on me"

We got her the water-proof cast, so she can shower, take a bath or even get in the hot tub and not worry about it. Hopefully it will be Rebel proof also.

Wow a water proof cast??? They never offered me that Sure hope it gets better quick

The Kimsey Klan felt so bad when we heard about the news in Florida but was so grateful to know Marge didn't pull a Tater and roll in poop. You got it; this seems to be his FAVORITE past time now "rolling in fresh poop".

Jake wants to be home late tonight so I'm sure he'll stop by tomorrow during the day to check on you. I've got to go feed my other 3 children this morning & after work & GUESS WHAT?? The daily exercise throwing the frisbee with Pepper has gotten him a little calmer-he didn't bust my mouth wide open this time when I had to crawl through the doggy door again.

Oh Marge, SO sorry to hear that you broke your ankle. I know what a pain that can be. Were you on the deck or off? I have been in a situation that I have almost been knocked or pulled down by the dog, thinking it a miracle each time I don't fall.

Marge is doing better, but has the cast and no weight bearing on that foot until Feb 18th. She will have to take it easy for a while whick I'm thinking means STAY AWAY FROM REBEL WHEN HE IS EXCITED !!

The cast comes of Wednesday !! Dusty is watching after Marge here to make sure she doesn't get hurt again

Marge gets her cast off Wed and has a birthday the 2nd of March...how about we have a jump/cookout to celebrate??

i can do that without son and spouse interferring.

I can't beliee how cold it still is...isn't this the south ??
